“Those who are truly able to master the bow blur the line between weapon and art form. Their precise skill and aim are the envy of many across the land. These adept fighters need no magic nor luck to aid them, as they are dependent only on their bow and their own skill. They possess a variety of skills and tactics, each of which could find use in a variety of widely differing situations.”

Hello everyone! My journey of creating a new subclass for each class in 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons continues, this week with the fighter. I have always felt that ranged options for the fighter are fairly lacking, particularly the Arcane Archer archetype. This subclass allows an adventurer to utilize different techniques when utilizing a bow, such as enhancing your accuracy or damage, pinning an enemy in place, or tethering yourself to an enemy via a rope. They need no magic, for their skill with a bow can surpass even the most powerful spells.

If you’re looking for further martial classes, I have two listed below. These are the Lawman Rogue, which is quite similar to the archetypical cowboy, and the Path of Magnesis Barbarian, which allows you to control metal objects via the force of your rage. You can find me on Twitter @QuinnTheGM, I’d love to hear any feedback or answer any questions. Cheers!
