Encounter Summary: A child goes missing in the small trade village of Bezentile. He has been taken by the malicious spirit aimed at creating blightspawn to spread Talona’s blight across the land. Can the adventurers save the missing child before they become a vessel of horrific pestilence?

Setting: This adventure is set in the Forgotten Realms, specifically the village of Bezentil in  the Great Dale. However, the encounter easily fits into nearly any fantasy campaign setting containing a small village with nearby ruins.
