Players are on board of their spaceship and they are forced to stop on a rocky planet due to a defect in any part of the ship engine for which they need specialized assistance or components they do not have on board. As they approach the planet, they will find a community of the Sheldul people (humanoids with characteristics of desert lizards) who communicate through the tracking tower and say that they can land. The Sheldul offer a cheap price for the garage during their stay, implying that although they take part in the galactic currency zone, this is a very poor community with few chances of foreign trade.”

These words introduced the internet to The Backrooms, a mysterious place separate from the world we know. Since then the popularity of this place has expanded into YouTube videos, memes, and video games.

This product replaces the Player’s Packet from the Caught in the Backrooms preview packet and contains some revisions to character generation. Some of the rules have been tweaked based on feedback from our playtesters.

While the game is nearing completion please note that this product is still in development and may go through additional changes. The core game mechanics are not likely to change much but there will be additiona character creation options.
